EVERFI Impact Report for School Year 2022-2023

HCN Bank is pleased to announce the remarkable impact of its partnership with EVERFI educational programs during the school year 2022-2023. Through this collaboration, HCN Bank successfully reached 663 students across 8 different schools, providing them with invaluable knowledge through use of a nine-module online financial literacy program that includes banking basics, budgeting, renting vs owning, among other financial concepts. The collective effort resulted in nearly 2,000 hours of learning, empowering students with essential financial literacy education.

Of notable significance is the fact that an impressive 97.7% of the students served through this partnership came from Low- to Moderate-Income communities. This outstanding achievement underscores HCN Bank's dedication to reaching and supporting those who can benefit the most from these programs.

EVERFI's mission aligns perfectly with HCN Bank's commitment to equipping learners with the financial skills necessary for successful transitions into adulthood. Through EVERFI's comprehensive curriculum, students gained critical knowledge in navigating the banking system and understanding concepts that will better prepare them for the financial decisions they will need to make in their future.
